Prohibited Items

For the safety of our staff, partners, and customers, and to comply fully with transportation regulations, M/S Lytbag Luggage Shipping Enterprise strictly prohibits the shipment of certain items. To ensure compliance, all shipments are subject to screening at our sorting centers, which may include high-end UV scanners. It is critical to understand the distinction in consequences: if luggage is found to contain illegal items such as narcotics, it will be immediately reported to the relevant legal authorities. If luggage contains other forbidden but non-illegal items as listed below, the shipment will not proceed and will be returned to the origin address with no refund on the booking amount. We kindly request your full cooperation in shipping only permissible items.

The following items are strictly forbidden:

  • Currency, jewelry, precious metals, or stones.
  • Alcohol, tobacco products, and all narcotic or psychotropic substances.
  • All perishable food items and liquids.
  • Flammable materials (e.g., paint, adhesives, lighters, perfume).
  • Explosives (e.g., firearms, ammunition, fireworks).
  • Hazardous or corrosive materials (e.g., acids, batteries).
  • Pressurized containers (e.g., aerosols, spray cans).
  • Electronic devices with non-removable lithium-ion batteries exceeding regulatory limits.
  • Live animals or plants.
  • Any item that is illegal to possess or transport under any applicable local, state, or national law.

Booking and Payment

Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive an email containing your unique Booking ID. We offer flexible payment options to suit your convenience: you can pay the full amount upfront via UPI/Online methods, or you can opt to Pay on Pickup and pay our executive at the time of luggage collection. An official invoice and payment receipt will be sent to your registered email address upon successful transaction.

Rewards and Offers

We offer various rewards, including gift cards worth up to ₹500 to selected users and referral rewards for loyal customers. We also offer one free backpack or small bag delivery (up to 5 kg) with every booking to make your travel lighter. All offers are limited and may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

Insurance and Compensation

All luggage shipments are protected with complimentary insurance coverage based on the luggage category. The coverage is as follows: Light variant up to ₹5,000, Regular variant up to ₹10,000, and Heavy variant up to ₹15,000. Customers must declare the value of their items before shipping to be eligible for a claim. Proof of value (like an invoice or image) is required if a claim is made. In cases of scratches, delays, or minor mishandling, Lytbag offers a guaranteed compensation of up to ₹499, subject to internal verification.

Tracking and Safety

Your peace of mind is our priority. Upon booking, you will receive a digital shipping label with a unique QR code, eliminating the need for paper stickers. At pickup, your luggage is secured with a tamper-proof seal. You can monitor your shipment’s entire journey in real-time on our website. Our dedicated handling procedures ensure zero theft or loss.

Cancellation and Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair as possible:

  • Cancellation Before Pickup (Online Payment): If you cancel your booking before the luggage has been picked up, we will initiate a full refund. Please note that any transaction fees charged by the payment gateway will be deducted from the refund amount. The refund will be processed within 24-48 hours.
  • Cancellation Before Pickup (Pay on Pickup): If you chose the "Pay on Pickup" option and cancel before the pickup, no charges apply and no refund is necessary as no payment was made.
  • Cancellation After Pickup: In the rare event that you need to cancel a shipment after it has been picked up or is already in transit, please contact our support team immediately via support@lytbag.com or our toll-free number. We will arrange to have the luggage returned to the original pickup address. In such cases, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded to you within 24-48 hours of the cancellation request being processed.
  • Payment Gateway Failures: In the event of a payment gateway failure where an amount was debited from your account but your booking was not confirmed due to a technical interruption, please do not attempt to book again immediately. Our system will automatically verify the transaction with the payment gateway. If the payment was successfully received by M/S Lytbag Luggage Shipping Enterprise, your booking will be confirmed automatically, and you will receive a confirmation email. If our gateway did not receive the payment, the debited amount will typically be reversed by your bank within 5-7 business days. In case of a dispute, customers are advised to raise a chargeback with their issuing bank, providing all transaction details. M/S Lytbag Luggage Shipping Enterprise will provide full cooperation to the bank for the investigation.

Grievance and Claims

To file for compensation or an insurance claim, customers must use the "Raise Grievance" form available on our website. All claims must be submitted with valid proof, such as photographs of the damage, to initiate the review process. Our dedicated support team is committed to reviewing and resolving all grievances within 7 business days.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are expected to provide accurate pickup/delivery addresses, contact details, and luggage weight. Any false declaration may result in delays, rescheduling, or additional charges.

Customer Rights

As a customer of M/S Lytbag Luggage Shipping Enterprise, you have the right to safe and timely service, clear information on pricing, privacy of your personal data, and access to a formal grievance redressal process. You are entitled to compensation and insurance claims as per the terms outlined herein.

Policy Changes

M/S Lytbag Luggage Shipping Enterprise reserves the right to change pricing, offers, service limits, and operating policies at any time. All such updates will be published on our website.
